DEXIS Authoring Tool

Now you can show your client's own room decorated in alternative colour schemes at the click of a button and get their immediate commitment to your proposals.
The DEXIS Authoring Tool is a key part of the DEXIS Visual Design Studio, for the first time letting you work on an image of your client's own room, (whether taken on a digital camera or scanned in from a photograph or drawing of the room), and mesh it on your own PC. Using colours or patterns and colourways you have scanned in or recieved in correct format from your suppliers you can then show real designs in their own roomset.
Some of the functions included are:
- Rapid mesh creation method with full mesh editing and re-defining options
- Full data entry systerm to define meshed areas and the textures permissible for use on each area
- Full control of both design and image scaling to match originals
- Grouping of meshes as common target areas
- Masking features to prevent chosen textures mapping over detailed items
- Supports the commonly used file formats including BMP, TIFF, JPEG, etc
The
Paint Data Entry Module allows you to build up and extend your own database for paints and has been designed to suit:
- a user simply wanting to extend the range of colours available on the system,
- a paint specialist/ archivist wanting to add colours of their own finding, together with some brief reference data as to where they found it,
- and a paint manufacturer wanting to create a small database of their own paint colours together with the necessary product and technical details.
