DEXIS Mapping Studio
At last -
the mapping software everyone has been waiting for!
Now you can scan in your own designs put them into repeat using
e.g. Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, and then show them accurately
to scale in the client's own room!
The
DEXIS Mapping Studio enables the creation of photo-realistic
impressions of a room-set or other 3D object where both image
and design size may need adjusting. You can work on a digital
image of the client's own room (whether taken on a digital camera
or scanned in from a photograph or drawing of the room), and grid
it on your own PC. Using colours or patterns and colourways you
have scanned in or received in correct format from the suppliers,
you can then bring real designs into their own roomset.
This is an
invaluable sales and presentation tool since it helps the designers
communicate their ideas to the end customer who can then visualise
how the designs will look in the context of their own home, thus
giving them the confidence to make a purchase.
You can create normal or perspective grids for a photo-realistic
impression of a roomset, a fashion mannequin or other 3-D object,
onto which designs or colours can be mapped. The result is a simulation
close to the true three-dimensional look of the final product
that preserves all the subtle shading and highlights of the original.

creation method with full grid editing options
